Admins and users.

Two roles on Growth and Desk. Those admins sit outside the user seats. Users post and review, and they can edit a draft. Those admins cannot edit that wording. Both roles read the weekly style report. Starter is 1 licence. That person is the admin and the user. There is no second login.

Starter is 1 licence. That person is the admin, and they also review. There is no second login. Growth is 1 admin plus 5 users. Desk is 2 admins plus 15 users. Those users post and review. The Growth and Desk admins sit outside that allotment.

Admin and user, side by side. This table is public. No login. Scroll sideways on a small screen. The admin column is Growth and Desk, and those admins cannot review. Starter is 1 licence. That person is the admin and the user.

Admins

Growth has 1 admin. Desk has 2. They sit outside the user seats. An admin cannot post, review, edit a draft, publish, or comment. The tasks below are the whole of the role. Activity and the monthly statement are included. A review-only user cannot open them. The Starter licence can open Activity, and they can also review. The master site admin can open every tenant.

An admin can

  1. Upload or replace the brand kit
  2. Use the template library, and freeze a Desk custom upload
  3. Set theme requests: duration, a typed theme or one we suggest, and peer review or auto-post
  4. Invite, deactivate, and reassign seats, and see the active user list
  5. Reset user passwords, force logout, and see the login audit
  6. View invoices, the billing portal, and the tier. Card details only for the billing contact
  7. Choose who receives review reminders and the 48-hour delete notice
  8. Confirm the connected LinkedIn company page
  9. Export the monthly report

An admin cannot

  • Post content
  • Review a draft: Approve, Amend, or Skip
  • Edit a draft's wording
  • Publish on LinkedIn
  • Comment on the company page

Users

A user seat is the person who posts and reviews. Growth has 5 of these seats. Desk has 15. Starter has no separate user seat. The one licence is the admin and the user. A user can edit a post or article in the review queue. An edit does not publish it. Once a day we compare that edit with the prior draft and learn the company style. Admins and users both read the weekly report. A user does not hold an admin seat.

A user can

  • Review a draft on this site: Approve, Amend, or Skip, each with that draft's 6-digit code
  • Edit a post or article draft in the review queue, with that draft's 6-digit code. An edit does not publish it
  • Read the weekly style report: what we saw, what we learned, and what we will adopt next
  • Take part in a theme as the theme settings allow: duration, a typed theme or one we suggest, and peer review or auto-post

A user cannot

  • Invite, deactivate, or reassign seats, or see the active user list
  • View invoices, the billing portal, or the tier, or see card details
  • Freeze a Desk custom template upload
  • Reset another person's password, force their logout, or open the login audit
  • Open Activity or download a statement
